Q: When should my garbage be set out for collection?
Always set your trash out the night before because we cannot guarantee what time the drivers will arrive to pick up your trash.


Q: What items are not allowed for residential pick up?
We do not accept any yard waste or bulk items. However, a customer can call the office to arrange a bulk pick up for an additional cost.


Q: Do you offer any recycling services?
Yes we do! We offer single-stream recycling - there's no need to separate glass, plastic, and paper items! However, if you have cardboard boxes, all you need to do is flatten them and place them next to your trash can.


Q: What day is my trash going to be picked up?
The day of the week when your trash would be picked up depends on which county you live in and what street you live on. Feel free to call the office at (301)952-8700 and someone would be more than happy to assist you in determining what day your pick up would be.


Q: How often is trash collected?
Your trash is picked up once a week.


Q: How do I pay for my services?
First time customers who are just signing up for services would need to pay up front. We bill quarterly so it would be a prorated amount based on the start date. After the first quarter, we mail invoices to our customers. Customers can call us and pay with credit card over the phone, mail in a check to P.O. Box 1685 Waldorf, MD 20604 or pay online.


Q: Do you provide trash cans for your customers?
Yes, we provide a 95 gallon trash can with lid and wheels, free of charge. We always recommend starting with one trash can and then calling to request another trash can, free of charge as well.


Q: What should I do with yard waste?
We do not accept yard waste. A customer should call their county to see what their policies are about yard waste.


Q: How do I dispose of electronics or bulky items?
A customer can call the office to schedule a bulk pick up for an additional cost. We will set up an appointment for a pick up and the additional charge would then be applied to your next quarterly bill.


Q: Do I have to sign a contract to receive residential trash pickup?
Residential customers do not need to sign a contract. Customers pay for that quarter and it they wish to cancel before the three months is over, we issue a refund check.


Q: What happens if my trash pick up falls on a holiday?
If the holiday falls on a weekday- after the holiday, your trash will be picked up one day later than normally scheduled.

For example- Thanksgiving is on a Thursday- Everyone who gets picked up on Monday through Wednesday will be picked up on their normally scheduled day. Customers who are scheduled for Thursday pick up will be picked up on Friday and for those who are scheduled for Friday pickup- you will be picked up on Saturday.
